So... waiting for my first JK order to be filled in June, I decided to buy this Michigan Trail off the sales forum here. When the seller offered me the matched Scout at a great price, I jumped on it. Now I have this matched pair of JK's to play with while waiting  Sorry for the crappy cell phone photo.

BTW, this is my first exposure to micarta handles, and I have to say I really like the grippy feel of them. They look pretty too

You should have asked the seller for the copy of SWAT magazine I sent him. That Scout was featured in an article about me in 2009.

 Do you remember which issue John? I'd like to see if I can get a back issue. Thanks.

Here are some bad pics of the plaque my daughter had made for me from the article.

I was able to get a copy of the magazine. Very nice article John.

The Michigan Trail has become my go to knife... just awesome.

Got my JK EDC Kephart yesterday. I am very pleased with the overall experience in working with John and with the product. Here are a few pics:

Even though it was a work day and 94 outside, I had to go out and play between conference calls to test it out.

Those of you on the fence as to whether to get a JK Knife or not, I say, come on in. The water is fine....
