Pictures Coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to post some pictures, but how do I get Nifrand's e-mail address? Thanks, Mark

Spark you said for gold members,, I think anyway??
I changed from gold to knife maker, same $$$'s
are we included? what, why, where, and how
 :) thanks

Honestly, I'm shocked. I have not visited the Custom forum for about two years because of this foolishness. I mean really, how can you have a custom knife forum without pictures? It just didn't make sense..... I'm still not going to post pics of my own knives here though because I don't want anyone getting the wrong idea. Thanks for giving the whole thing some new life! :)

OK, I've read this thread, and as with the others, I think it's obvious that if you have a custom knife forum, then there should be pictures on it........my questions is...... where are the pictures? I was going to post up a new design, but since nobody else has posted anything, I was a little hesitant to do so?
Is it the sort of thing where you want us to post a new thread with pics, or do you want to keep it as a group thing?

Knifemaker memberships have the same privaledges as Gold memberships do. Personally, I want to see makers posting pictures of their knives. It helps me decide which makers are coming up with designs and styles that I like.

The only thing is, Spark does not want to see this forum used for platant advertising. So no, "Here is my latest knife, it is selling for $350.00" kind of stuff. Posting pictures to show what you are doing and to get opinions from other members should be a big part of what this forum is all about.

Is this not what the Gallery is for? I have posted pics in the gallery and asked for comments. I have never priced a knife in a post. I have pm'd or e-mailed the person who asked what the price was or would be for a simular piece. Most of what I post is already sold anyhow.

I agree that a custom knife forum should have pics. I have not posted here because I saw others try and get moved to the Gallery. I would like more feedback than I've gotten before on knives that I've posted. Meaning, yea's and nah's. It would help to know why somebody "doesn't" like a particular knife or a feature of a knife posted. Not that I don't like compliments, but criticism is good too.

Darby,

How does one go about posting? (OK I found the answer to that under FAQ: attachments and requirements are the same as another site I visit) - so never mind.
What determines whether one can or cannot post an attachemnt, ie: photo?
