Pictures of GSO Colors please?

Whenever I am in the Survive! website clicking around the order page I am always faced with all the uncertainties on what colors I should pick for the handle and the sheath, the reason being that the photos on the order page are so small it is hard to visualize the actual feel of the colors. Also, I wasn't sure if I should opt for tumbled or black oxide fasteners. I am not sure if this topic has been discussed because I couldn't seem to find a thread in the search.

It would help many who have faced similar uncertainties if all you kind souls could post pictures of your knives alongside the sheath and tell us what colors and materials they are (Micarta, linen). Maybe even with a close up of the fasteners if possible?

I know there is a dedicated photo thread but this thread is dedicated more to informing potential buyers like myself on the choice of colors and I think it is different from the other photo threads.

4.1 black kiahdex, black linen.

The same 4.1 in purple g10.


The necker ll is od kaihdex, od canvas scales.
5.1 is orange g10 black kaihdex.



I'll post a few more when I hit the road. I should have a long ride ahead.
 
I love informative threads! I wanted the pic thread to involve more details originally, but I think it's too easy to show off great pics without adding details :p

Green canvas micarta, black fasteners, FDE sheath.

Beautiful photos. Looking at them makes me drool. Can't wait to get my 7/7 and I hope to get more.
 
Texas_Toothpick, is it really called kiahdex? By the way, the black Micarta isn't really black right? Is it kind of dark greyish?

I think the red is nice but I am not so sure if I am up for it. Somehow I kind of like the green Micarta more, and I also like the FDE sheath.
 
I prefer my fasteners to match the blade.

It is dark gray till you oil it. And they were linen I went back and checked my email. I think k normally it kydex but kiah's stuff was made with love so it is kiahdex :D

"Kiahdex" was actually a bit of a joke at the time, "Kiah" being pronounced the same way as "Ky", and a bit more distinctive than the original "Custom Kydex" name. I'll probably change it again at some point, just haven't thought of a snazzy enough name yet.

Lol! For a moment I was confused because I didn't know about the history here. Now I know and I just find you guys interestingly funny! Hahaha!
