I never had the custom but having a few different versions of the Gemini, it is one of my favorite patterns. It is very comfortable, and even more so when I round the back corner on the Micarta versions. (I've done that to other Laconico-designed knives too. I asked him why he puts a corner there instead of full rounding and he said it was an aesthetic choice.)

Even without rounding that corner, I've realized that I keep trying different knives in this size category and just returning to the Gemini. It looks and feels bigger than something like the Elementum but in reality, it has the same EDC footprint.

Here is today's version for Wooden Wednesday. I finally got everything done so I'm off to the range!

What a beautiful knife!!!! The handle is gorgeous and the blade pattern reminds me of the old woodcraft......Just a damn fine looking and I'm sure workin' blade!!!! How's the leather????

Yes, it's plywood, but we're also looking at a couple old school woodworking tools here.
