Pictures of Knives in Wood!

You might enjoy looking up the Yosemite Tie-off for the bowline. It's probably not an issue with the cordage shown here, but the Yosemite Tie-off solves the issue with bowlines self-loosening sometimes, and it dresses the knot a little neater so the tag end is away from the working loop. The bowline self-loosening issue is why it is not meant for use in safety of life applications.

My personal edc Prevail model with textured Suretouch scales in 3/16” AEB-L that tapers to 1/8” at the butt. Full flat to near zero edge. Radiused spine and thumb ramp, all leading up to surprisingly high balance of strength, grip security, comfort, handling, and performance. To this day, since I made the first one four years ago or so, it remains my favorite all purpose fixed blade. This particular one is 5.3 oz despite being over 8 1/2” long with a 4” cutting edge in 3/16” stock. No wasted space. No clunky handling. My favorite knife. Thanks for looking.
