Pictures of Knives on Rocks

It’s funny - I have about 500 pictures of rocks and several thousand pics of knives, but none I could find with a knife ON a rock except for these that I just took on Tuesday. The little rock was there to lean the handle on to lift it up for the pics.

Edit: hank_rearden the rock is Chert from the Monterey formation.

Pyrite crystal.

These just blow my mind. How this mineral forms perfectly square crystals that look polished, and man made, baffles me.

No man has ever put a hand on this to finnish it or anything, it is just broken of the the rock it sat in.

Amazing right?

we don't really have rocks here.........just sand...but wife had this rock she brought back from some place...so it will have to do.....
