Reminds me of the Bounty Hunter designs from Microtech. It looks awesome.
Thanks! It almost reminds a bit of heavy patina on copper as well, though that was never my intention. When I do little projects like this they don't always turn out exactly how I envisioned, but usually result in something a little bit different that I am pleased with. They tend to take on a life of their own. I think the "Boba Fett effect" fits this knife well.Reminds me of the Bounty Hunter designs from Microtech. It looks awesome.
J jfk1110 , that knife was made by a friend of mine Ross Gammons of Dry Creek Forge. The blade is around 5 inches and is 52100 steel with micarta scales. I have several knives made by Ross and his knives are a really good value for no more than what he charges. He has a Facebook group called Dry Creek Forge Woodsmen where he post all of his work. Most of the time his knives sell before they ever hit his website. He also does raffles and I have won a few knives.
