Sorry it took me so long to respond, brother.

I live in WA, just about 20 miles from Mt. Rainier as the crow flies, but those pics are from throughout the state. Those lakes with vibrant colors are Alpine likes high in the mountains, many are glacier fed, and they get their color from the minerals. The next to last pic with the waves is on the Puget Sound, and that last one was just taken at a Japanese garden.

This state is truly a wonderland, and even though I've spent much of my free time exploring it in the 7 years I've been out here, I've truly only scratched the surface. There are two mountain ranges, one volcanic (Cascades) and one created by plate tectonics (Olympics). Not to mention the Scablands and arid desert-like areas on the other side of the Cascades.

I'm originally from Central Florida in a town right next to Canaveral National Seashore, and I typically spend at least every Feb back down there, so you're bound to see some of my knife pics from there as well (though usually not on rocks )

We have a stream running across the back of the property, plus we live in the mountains, so there's no shortage of rocks for knife pics.
