Carothers Behemoth Chopper sheath. Excellent fit and retention and only 4.6 ounces. The Behemoth Chopper is a large chopper with a 12 inch blade. The behemoth chopper is one crazy sharp and outstanding knife that is so well balanced in the hand.

Alligator over veg tanned drum dyed cow leather. Alligator alone is too thin to mold a sheath with.

Beautiful. Would be cool to see more of your gun holsters too (because that would go under “and such”, right?).

Yes, Yes it does qualify as "and such" :D

Hi and Mornin'. My avatar is my third effort at knife and sheath making. The "thing" on the handle is my zodiac sign. I can't find 6 oz. leather. My sheaths are pretty good but not .... something. By the way, love the feel of leather while working. Super rewarding! I use 8-10 oz. from Springfield. Isopropyl, stain and Resolene. Buff and too shiny and hard! But very serviceable. Would love a softer sheath. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.
