Hi,

I'm interested in seeing pictures of old Busse knives (5+ years back or before the talon hole). If you have any, I'd appreciate it!

Thought it would be interesting to see how Jerry progressed over the years!

Thanks!

badmojo will have it, but you will have to go way more than 5 years back to see his knives devoid of talon holes. I remember the steel heart in 1996 having them.

well, there you go, that is where all the old stuff is, in a black hole in Idahoe:D

yes colt made thousands of them, it's a mustang that has extensive work done to it by a shop near tony g's. ;)

Wow.
It's like having a Busse Time Machine.

I'm surprised some of those haven't started to fossilize!

If he wanted to, Skunk could compose some pretty interesting pictures -- "The Evolution of the Busse Single Edge," for example. We could put together a smashing article for Nature! :D

What is the knife on the top called and also the one second from the bottom?

And....is that Tomintoul??? save me some :grumpy: :grumpy:

God!!! Was that done by the Asian guy that died a few years ago? I don't recall his name right now but he was a truly great gunsmith

Ha Ha..

Now what is the function of the other attachment for this one?
Why does it have a grip?

three finger and airborne ranger, i'll have to find my glasses and see what the name is they put on the side of it.

scott mcdougall, san fran gunsmith, one of the best for working carry pistols.

the holy tearer is actually the two attachments put together.

the blade attached to the shsh comes with the other handle. it was designed to separate and fit the shsh.

I still have the full size 1911 that Joe bonar built for me throuh Novak's. He was arguably the best 1911 builder until his untimely demise.

Scott is north of San Francisco about 40 miles. I pass by his place when I ride my bicycle from San Francisco to the other house in Kenwood.

He is good, yes maybe one of the best now... but he'd have to get about five times better to match the guy I'm trying to think of.

Yep...that's Tomintoul. If Skunk finishes his, I'll set some aside for you here.

Have you tried Bruichladdich? Now that's a fine, fine dram.

I'm sipping 20 year old, second edition and enjoying every moment.
