Pictures of your most worked and beat up knives

I love it! Take your safe queens elsewhere. These knives have character!:)

This was my first knife. I have had it for well over 25+ yrs. The scissors broke about a year ago, threads wore out. Small knife blade tip broke. scales broke from hammering, fixed with jb weld. (This is well before I had joined BF and realized you can get replacement scales.) Dog chewed other side. Do you think, this would fall under warranty.

I love my Phillips on this because this is back when they had the slit in it, for the old sardine cans that came with the key. That little slit has come in handy.

Perhaps those two:
I use my buck for every landscaping work (cutting sod, plastic piupes, etc.) and it keeps up fine

I use my AD in my garage for whatever I need to do. End then just clean it up (sometimes from paint etc.) This is the one which you can use with no worries for whatever. Still looks almost as new :D

I do maintain my knives and put the edge back as necessary.

That is the same SAK I carry everyday. I never seen the split phillips though? Does my heart good to see all of the use you have gotton out of that knive. 25+ Years? You probably paid under 15.00 bucks for it. How's that for value!

EDIT: I just noticed we live pretty close to each other.

Anyone else notice that some of these would not look nearly as worn if they didn't have a coated blade?

I have never been a fan of coated blades and try not to get them. My M4 Rift is coated and is holding up surprisingly well for not being DLC. I know on some knives it serves a purpose but on a stainless knife not really.

Pstchopomp, love the 710,it's edc for me.

My pictures show what three and a half years of EDC will do to a knife. The G-10 is chipped at the pivot because I used it as a makeshift beer opening device.

I don't EDC it anymore because I concluded that it's more knife than I really need... but it's still one of my favorites.

Almost forgot about this one, it's a little over 35 years old. Don't use it much these days, but it put it's time in, back in the day. :)

My mini grip. The black coating doesn't last very long when you use it to cut through steel chimney liners. It seems like I'm not the only one that beats up on their tanto blade more than any other. I wonder why that is?

I dont remember what I paid, I think 15-18. Yes that knife could tell you thousands of stories. It's been around the world with me. I love its character, but am thinking of having it repaired. Scissors replaced, small blade, maybe new scales (there in lies it's character):D

This ones not that beat up but it's the oldest and most used knife that I still have.
