pietje & 1776 - The one thing I learned from doing this, is to take it slow. When you start modding and removing steel, it can't be undone. However, don't be afraid to make mistakes, it's a great way to learn. I ruined a few blades in my day, but I just see it as practice. Good Luck!

Yup, slow and steady wins the race! Removing material is always a lot easier the adding. Plus temperature control off course. Good practice and fun! Even a ruined blade can have its application. Thanks will need some luck!

After a lot of regrinding- and handle projects this is my second BIG tip work project. I had some practice on Cold Steel's 1055. I started on the Becker Saturday…The 1095CV is definitely a lot tougher and harder material to work with.
