I'm sure this has been covered again and again, but I can't seem to find the answer.
My HT kiln is all wired up according to the classic diagram, but I seem to be totally failing at the most basic operation, and can't find the answers online or in the manual.
Auber standard issue SYL 2352p
Top bar says 58 to 60, which I assume is ambient temp, bottom bar flashing "stop"
Can't find a clue what the flashing "stop" might mean, or how to get it to do anything else.
I've checked the wiring a few times, in the hope that it might mean I got something backwards, but so far all seems well....anyone seen that before?
Perhaps it would help to set everything to fact. default and start over, but there's nothing in the manual about that, either.

It just keeps flashing, "Stop, stop."
I'm like, "Stop what?"
I keep expecting it to say, "If you really cared, you'd know why I'm saying Stop."

From part 2 of instruction manual, section 3.6 (page 2): to restart it from stop mode), press the V key for roughly 2 seconds until the lower window displays
"run".

Not sure that's your problem, but it might be worth a try.

Good luck.

Thanks, Ken, I knew it had to be somewhere obvious.
I had set part 2 of the manual aside, since I wasn't trying to set soak/ramp, just bring it up to cure temp.....When all else fails, read the instructions, right?

Glad to help - I do hope that cures the problem. I have many of the same type problems - "open me eyes!" {g}

I watched this thread waiting to see how long it took someone to suggest the obvious...press "start".
Ken is the winner :)

Thanks for the help, Ken.
Auber was extremely helpful, and got me up and running.
(They explained that the SYL 2352p is programmable ONLY, and has no "start" button or manual mode as we're used to thnking of it. )

Done here.
Anyone with questions feel free to pm me- I don't know much, but I do know how to get started with this PID now.
