Piddling Around with Paddling_man's Passarounds... :o) Pix inside!

Looks like fun to me! That #225 sure looks like it has a sweet edge on it now :D

Great pixx. If you have a CG ASH1 could you take comparison pics, especially of the spines. :D If you have time. ;)

Here ya go! :D

MAN... That is ONE FAT ASH!!! :foot: :D:D

Nice side by side bro! Thanks for posting these Jaxx, I can't wait to get my hands on that baby!!!!

....and thanks again PM for sending this around for all of us who are doing without...a CG that is!;)

That was a very enjoyable stroll through some killer blades and the feline company was excellent. Cats are smarter than dogs but you can't get a cat to jump out of a boat into icy water to bring you a duck. On the other hand you can't get a dog to crap in a box.

I took a little time today to take these two knives back outside for a little more fun... Here's a few more pix with a HOGFSH that matches up well with PM's 2 blades... Stripped with black linen grips! :)

Group shot with a few LE's of mine...

They are great blades, but the SFNO is a much better chopper than the SJTAC, LOL! Of course the SJTAC is one stabby knife!
Very cool, again, of Paddling_man to let us try 'em both out... Thanks again!!!

And of course... When the Busse's come out...

...I turn my back for 10 seconds, and there's (Good) Karma eying up the HOGFSHLE #27, LOL!!! ...Well, I can't knock my cat's taste in Busse knives!

...And last, but not least... A cool shot of my 4 LE's in the late afternoon sun...

You cat looks like he/she (?) has the INFI bug as well. :D

She scored a better time than me in tonight's Ganza!!! Won't tell me what she went for... and I caught her trying to steal my credit card 3 times in the last 2 hours... ;) :D:D

LOL

Main passaround thread is locked, so this is the next best place...

So, posted this on the RAT forum here as a question was asked about the Chopweiler, SFNO and Camp Tramp.

Basically I'll be doing a 2x4 chop test first. 10 chops and guage chopping and the feel. Then move on to a dead tree/bush I have in the back yard and do something similar.

The blades I have to test are:
Custom Shop SFNO (convex edge)
Camp Tramp
CG SFNO (passaround blade)
Old School RatWeiler
FBM LE
WFBM
BATACLE
CG ASH-1
SJTAC (passaround blade)
Custom M6
and Maybe, If I can talk my friend into letting me, a new Chopweiler (not holding my breath though)...

Any particular way you want these grouped if at all? Any other requests for testing?

Oiling the handles with bacon drippings never hurts! Those look spectacular!!

Very cool pixx Jaxx:thumbup::cool::thumbup:

I see the SFNO has greater bladelength than the Ash1...
