Of the three hundred knives I have made I consider this; "one of my best efforts"

• Blade consist of: 884 layers of 1095/5160/15n20 9inches
• Handle is: stabilized box elder burl.
• Guard is wrought iron and N.S.
• file worked escutchion
• N.S. ferrul with blackfiber spacers
• O.A. 14 inches

The hand tooled sheath for this knife was designed to accent the flair of the dagger at the riccasso. The inlay is white bronze which is held in a box elder "cup" This is incircled by a bronze and silver plated escutchion. The blah blah and yadda yadda ; enough! I took these close ups while the sun was out. Which is not often in November.
