This is my knife for Lorien's Pay It Forward build, there is a small WIP in the Pay it Forward thread over in the Shoptalk area. This is the 7th knife i have made, and it is the first one i have carved. It is also the first knife i have offered here for sale. Specs are as follows.
Blade: 1080 and 15n20 ladder pattern damascus
Blade Length: 7 inches, sharpened edge 6.25 inches
Blade Thickness at Spine. 3/16 with distal taper.
Guard: 5/8 copper with a milled face and step, guard is hot hammered onto the blade.
Handle: Exhibition Grade Birdseye Maple.
Handle Length: 4 3/4 ( 5 3/8 with guard)
Heat treating was done by Delbert Ealy. 59-60 Rc
Sheath is carved and tooled 6-7 oz leather with Pacific Rattlesnake skin windowed in. This is also my first sheath....
Proceeds for this sale go to a local guy who wants to get into sheath making, and that not only helps him, but could help us all!

Thanks for looking
Mike
