Hello,
Rodrigo from www.2Gknives.com just sent me one of his latest creations. A client asked for a pig sticker as hunting season is coming soon.
Here a 9" pig sticker, forged from 52100, clip blade, 7mm strong.
The seath made by Pepín Vives with crocodile inserts and padded with deer skin.

Poor pigs, at least they woun't suffer :)

A lot going on in that handle with ironwood?, stacked leather, stag and not sure what the reddish material is. Looks good though in my opinion.

Very nice sheath.

Looks like a nice hog hunting knife, lovely sheath as well.
Congrats and happy hunting to the new owner. :)

Nice looking knife. Until I read, I thought it was a Paul Long sheath.

Robert

The styling does look familiar, Robert, right down to the textured chevron and rolled deer skin liner. The man does really good work and uses grade A materials. I checked out the web site and that's just one of MANY beautifully done sheaths, and the Scagel repro knives are fantastic.

Very nice knife and sheath, I also thought it was one of Paul's sheaths when I first looked at it.

Hi
I ´m Pepin, the maker of the sheath.
Paul: I try to do my best with your inspiration and shared information from you. I import W&C skirting because is impossible to find a leather like this. We have in Spain an excellent tannery of exotics leathers.
I´m very far of your skillness and level, but I do my best. I love too making sheaths in the manner of Sandy Morrissey.
Thank Paul for your inspiration.
