Quick update, finally got a sheath made for this knife, what do yall think? Did all the sewing by hand, 2 lines of stitching per end. Feels real comfy as well.

That looks like quite an efficient contraption.

I used to hunt pig with some local boys in Kona on the Big Island. They were a trip. No stinkin' pig sticker for them. Once they (and their dogs) got a pig subdued it was out with a funky pocket knife with one hand (while the other hand and a knee held the pig down) then open the knife with their teeth and proceed to sever the jugular.

The folks I've hunted with here on Oahu use pig stickers though. They go in behind and under the shoulder to pierce the heart. Looks like yours will do the job for sure, and it can double to chop brush while wading through the brush!

Thanks Phil. I'm still waiting to get first blood on it. I hope I can go pig sticking soon. My neighbor wants to borrow it when he goes hog hunting but not until I get first blood on it.
