San mai blade of 1095 core, random pattern shell, and pure nickle shims. Bolster and butt cap are 3D printed cast copper, designed to sport a pigs head and squiggly tail. The cutting board and knife holder was made by Eugene Manigo, owner of Kambui Custom Craft in Brooklyn - both the board and handle are reclaimed walnut and teak with new purpleheart.

This is the first completed knife using my friend and fellow knifemaker's, Jann Muchnikoff, 23 ton press; what a wonderful tool!

Comments and critique always welcome,

You are a very brave knifemaker:) ... this knife is even toned down from your usual fare.

Beautiful blade.

This one I like a lot. Zany, but I like it.

That pig - how can one NOT like it.

I only have two questions.
Where's the bacon ?
Does that cutting board smell like bacon perhaps ?
That's a nice looking set though.

Nice blade with a good distal taper, and neat handle! The 3D printed pig parts, are they copper or bronze? They look so golden for copper.

A bacon blade.

Thanks guys!
Someone named this blade Hogsbane, and I just fell in love with it.
The 3D printed components are technically a copper-rich bronze, so they do have a slightly goldish hue
