Fantastic concept, and looks like beautiful execution. I'm putting myself on the list for one of these. What color choices are there for the micarta and G10 on this knife?

One change I might make, in a perfect world, for mine. My own personal interpretation of pikal is very point-oriented. Is it possible to make this honey with a more acute point?

Thanks for contributing another nice design to SD knifework, and kitchen knifework as well.

Andrew - I set this sheath up for neck carry - just forgot to mention it...:o

TIZWIN - The steel is kinda thin...I'd worry about the tip breaking...but if you want it, I'll do it. Let me know.

Dan

Dan, I see what you mean about the point. And what about the color options for G10 and Micarta?

Thanks.

In G10 I have orange, yellow, black and blue/black

In Micarta I have green, black and natural - all canvas

Dan, in the next batch, it's gonna be CPM154, right? Can you do one with a 3 - 3 1/2" handle, with blue/black G10 and kydex set for horizontal edge up on a 2 1/4" belt? I'll do an order tracker entry if you want.

Yes - best bet is to place an order through the Tracker.

GOT IT!! This thing is SCARY sharp. This is the first knife I've owned that I would use that term to describe. I am afraid of it.

I specifically bought some apples yesterday at the supermarket because I knew this knife was coming. Time for a snack/cutting test!

hardheart - I cut a shortie out of S30V today - I'll take a pic on Friday and see what you think. If you don't like it, or want to wait for CPM154, no biggie.

Let me know.

Dan

Good news - it slices apples and spreads peanut butter like nobody's business.

Bad news - I'm 99% sure I will eventually lose a finger to it.

Here ya go, hardheart:

Overall length is 5.75"
I don't want to take the handle any shorter...if you need 5.5"....let's take it off the blade.

that looks great, I'm sure I can make it work. Now I don't know if I want the S30V or the CPM154...
