Pill splitters? What works for the larger harder pills?

I've tried various knives and techniques as well as the pill cutters sold in drug stores. My pills are crumbly and the best technique I've come up with is biting it in half with my front teeth.

If the score is only on one side, you can sometimes break a tablet by resting it on a little ridge and pressing down on each side. Like putting a toothpick on the table, then rest the tablet on it, then press down on each side.

I often have to break up hard big pills, use a wooden match, a toothpick or a flattened out paperclip works really well, also if there's no score on the pill or even if there is you can make one or further weaken the one there by scoring the pill with a small knife blade and then press the backside down on the match/toothpick/paperclip.

This method works best with bigger pills.

I just use my hands and let out a big grrrrrr! I really do use my hands and the scored ones seem to break fairly easily and cleanly.
