So after two years of looking around and pinching pennies I finially found and was able to afford a MOAB....it was used and ugly and I wanted a fresh start so I sent it to Tim to be cleaned up a bit....this is what I got back:

Seriously though, he did an excellent job on my SHBM. It's like a silver bullet now :D he roughened up the micarta a little bit with the media blasting so it's even grippier and I've always wanted a rounded spine SHBM ever since I had one of the custom shop clip point SHSH's with the rounded spine and saw how smooth they looked (and are a tad easier on batons if you use a rubber mallet or such, the rounded spine doen't chew up your mallet so much.

THANK YOU TIM!!:thumbup:

Very nice. That is my little beastie....She mics out pretty thick I think...:D

I told Tim to turn into a Straight Handled Game Warden, but he must have forgotten.
:D

Oh, and you can rest assured that that knife has no manufacturing flaws in it, as it has been thrown into logs more than most throwing knives......

I think you have a show and tell coming up as well :D

I'm glad he forgot....BUT he didn't forget to turn YOUR knife into shurikens so we can be Busse ninjas!

:eek::eek::eek::eek: NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

All we need is 20 more Sus Scrofas to complete the INFI scale armor....after all :p what else would we use them for :D?

Pictures don't do this thing justice guys! :D Tim's does a great job! After all, he's got to get some INFI dust SOMEhow! :thumbup:

I like D/C because all I do is grab an oiled rag (nothing fancy...5w30) and wipe if off real good and it's cleaned right up. It scratches and rubs a bit over time, but looks cool.

That's one of the things I like about INFI, you can do anything you want with it finish wise and it'll be okay. Take some 52100, S7, A2, 5160, 1095 or any carbon steel that makes a great chopper, bead blast it and get it wet/use it outdoors and it gets some rust. INFI doesn't care. Cleans right up.

nice. NMSHBM . . . at least the front top.

i'm sure some people could do that with their sick GW collections . . . .

Thanks for the kind comments, it was a fun project, not everyone will trust you with their expensive knife! Cobalts projects are going to be a bit tougher! :eek:

Randucci, where in Washington are you? I would like to get together with some other Infi nuts some time. I am in Spokane, or as I like to call it, the great metropolis.

i'd be in for that if you do it not far from seattle . . . which unfortunately is all the way across the state . . . .
