Hey all! I sent this beauty to bladeforums member and pimper Maprik a while ago to have some work done.
Since then, ye olde bank account has taken a hit. So, after getting it back today, I need to move it.
This is a very unique, one off example of Matt Diskin's new flipper. He has been selling out of these at shows whenever they are made and that's the only way to get one.
I bought this from one of the rare instances that they come up for sale on the secondary market. I sent it to Maprik immediately for a full job. The handles and back spacer have been bead blasted and then anodized an incredibly unique dark plum color. Compared to the stock stonewashed finish, this completely transforms the look from working class to a dead sexy. The hardware was also anodized dark bronze, leaving the polished pivot screw untouched. I just couldn't ano it!
Handle length is just a hair under 5 inches.
Blade is 4 inches of M390 and has only sliced paper since new.
Full disclosure: there are a couple light scratches near the clip screw of the front scale that can only be seen in certain light. These were there when I got the knife back from having work done, no biggie.
Knife flips fast and hard with matt's proprietary bearing system and a nicely dialed in detent.
Centering is perfect and lockup via the steel insert is early and strong.
Price is $SOLD net via paypal, shipped anywhere in the United States of America. This is the cheapest you'll find one on the secondary market, not including the custom work.
