Spyderco Vallotton |SOLD. Second owner of the knife. Knife has been modded heavily (see pictures), and since carried and used. The hardware was all cerakoted black by Josh at Razor Edge Knives, who also did the hole-delete, blade etch, and reprofiled the secondary bevel. The knife also has custom Lacewood scales made by Steve at sketchenscales. The fit and finish on the whole project is excellent. The knife has no clip holes, and as such comes with a custom sheath made by Gary Graley. The whole package came together well. I simply have it sitting in my knife box and it rarely sees use anymore. The knife does have marks consistent with use. The edge has been stropped to bring it to a keen edge. The blade can be forced into a tiny bit of vertical play if you really want to make it flex. You could tighten the pivot, but I have it to the point where the blade drops freely. Carry marks on the sheath as well consistent with belt wear. I have nearly $500 in this project, and you can get it cheap! Comes with OEM scales, clip, and screws, and original box.

Fantoni C.U.T. Flipper | SOLD OBO. Third owner. Knife has been carried and resharpened. Original owner had Maprik etch and stonewash the blade, and anodize the liners and clip. I had Steve of sketchenscales make some beautiful ironwood scales. The clips screws are difficult to remove, and are border-line stripped. As a result there is a tiny bit of wiggle on the clip, but not enough to worry about it coming off. One of the interior body screws under the scales is also getting close to stripped. Additionally, comes with the OEM scales, but Steve still has the backspacer. If you really want it, I can arrange for it to be shipped to you. The flipping action is typical of this knife—very high tension on the lock bar means you need a strong pull to get the blade out fully. I have not adjusted the lockbar, so it'll come to you with the factory tension. The knife is beautifully crafted, with ergos second to none. The blade is razor sharp with a mild polish. The lockup is perfect, and the centering is dead on. Comes with box and papers.

Sorry to see that leave, but, I understand how that all goes far too well ;)

As to the sheath, pretty special and the way it was made it would not allow the knife inside if someone did put the original scales and clip on, it's a snug fit as she sits.

And to give folks a view of your thought process here's the thread that takes us on a trip of making what we see offered here a very neat trip indeed!
