The full acid stonewash on the blade was just a bit too dour for me. I polished the flute to better carry forth the line from the handle flute and tie in with the bright metal border lines on the handle.
I do like the knife better thus modded. Awesome knife BTW, don't know if I'll ever splurge like that again on a knife $ wise, but gosh I needed to scratch that itch
