Pimped-out my Maglite

To see how it would operate, I added the NiteIze led bulb and IQ push-button switch to my maglite - 12 bucks total. Goods - added lumens, 3 brightness levels, 2 strobe levels. Bads - no beam focusing. Thinks I'll leave the new bits on and it's into my hiking kit:

Yeah, I think LED's are way better, longer lasting, brighter and you don't get all the rings like with a regular bulb !

I showed my Fenix PD2 and PD3 at the VFW Post and now at times instead of a hug and a WELCOME HOME we just flash. No not that, the light. Get your mind out of the gutter. buncha preverts!!
