How do all you folder makers get such nice pins on bone and wood scales?
I have been using a small hamer and it works ok but i see some pins that are real nice and uniforme. Thanks JRH

Make sure it's kinda domed before you put it in and then use a nail set with a dished end as a back up or the side that the scale is on. Some use a tool to turn them after they have peened them.

Once you get good with a hammer, pins can be very uniform. Buff them in all directions after peening to remove any sharp edges.
