Also if you cut the bolsters a little wider then the
tang,then after you set the pins then roll the edge.
Then go back an set the pins again, that will give
you a good fit (curiosity of Mr.Hossom)
Well, I do all the above: Preshape the bolsters, peen the pins, beat the pins with a 2# sledge, put in a machinist vice and squeeze real hard, and punch the edges of the slightly oversized bolsters to eliminate gap. And guess what-- I occasionally still see a little of the pin when I'm done!! Oh well, usually works. LOL.
