Bladescout, your Pingo looks fantastic. I like everything you did to it, especially the scales and pocket clip.
Great mod! I need to get me a Pingo now. Too bad I don't have your skills though.
I really like it, including the finish. I'm not a fan of satin, either.
Now THAT is a Pingo I would buy.
Sounds goodOk so a pingo was on my to get list and now it's on my must have list
Old thread, but I missed it the first time.
That Pingo looks awesome !
I picked up a Pingo(orange) not long ago, and love the little knife.
I have heard nothing but good things about this knife. I'm still on the fence about it to a certain extent. I'm not a big fan of Zytel and the lack of one hand opening too. I know it was designed to be a 2 hand opener.
Does anyone know where I could get a thumb stud to go in the hole on the blade?
I know a place that has brass thumb studs available but they don't go in the hole but attach to the spine. Might not be what you're looking for but finding a pre-manufactured stud that fits exactly in a Pingo sized hole might be difficult. I'll mail the link.
Love the look. I thought about getting a Pingo and trying to put thumbstud in the hole, but I think it is beyond my capability. Pingo is the only Spydie I really love. Although Spydies are starting to grow on me.
