Here is a pink RC-3 I did today as well as a orange Izula.

I got to let them dry a little more and then I will reassemble the RC-3.

More to come ;)

I media blasted all the orignal coating off with 120 grit alum oxide. Blew it off with shop air and then Duracoated it with the color pink lady and cav arms orange.

Thanks!!! I plan on doing a few more in different colors and selling them. I also can do knives and other items if they are shipped to me.

This example was done with Duracoat. I have not tested it yet. I do have a few that I am letting cure and when that process is done I am going to beat the hell out of them and post the results.

OK. I think this would be great to have the feedback on so folks could do this to clean up their knives. Of course, many folks like the look of a well used tool....:)

And some folks here get all bent out of shape if you post pictures of a new, clean knife.

Certainly two distinct groups......if I buy a knife and wind up not really using it, it is off to be sold. I don't buy knifes to collect. Not for me.

That looks pretty neat... I'll be waiting to see with interest how it holds up. If it does well I may want to give it a try.

What would be a "ball park" price for something RC 3 size??
