Pink and Orange RC's

I love the orange Izula! (I wonder how it would look with some black "tiger-stripes" on it)

not a big fan of that RC-3 though...

I can do a bright green one!!!

the pink was designed more the female audience.....gotten a few requests thus far though.

#134 Cav arms electric green or perhaps #61 which is one of the electric colors (lime)

61 I bet is CRAZY bright!!! Anyone want to send me 10 bucks to try that one out?! :)

This is the kind of green I was thinking about:

Here is my orange Izula with orange paracoard. This was my first attempt at wrapping a knife....just need to figure out a better way to finish it off.

Check out the other things I have been doing with colors. Follow my link of look at my other posts.

Here is a pic of the pink RC-3 I did. I wrapped the handle and replaced the paracord that the sheath came with.

It does....nice and comfortable though. I will probably take it off....just playing around with different options.

On the pink RC3...............

Did you "paint" the sheath too??? If so, what with???

Looks good !!!

It was all done with Duracoat.

I took the scales off.....blasted the entire knife with Alum Oxide 120 grit......hung it and coated it with Duracoat. I repated the same on the sheath.

After I let it cure, I but it back together and let it set for 2 weeks. I then took it out and beat the crap out of it. The Duracoat wore well.....I then took it back into my shop.....de-greased and cleaned it....applied Duracoat again to cover up the wear marks. So far it has worn very well.

I did one just like it for a gentleman's wife here on the forums.

Does the duracoat resist rust well?

Oh yea!!! Duracoat is great...."DuraCoat's combination of elasticity and hardness creates a finish impervious to impact, scratching and the elements." quote from their web site.

Thanks for the info.
Does the "Duracoat" continue to adhere to the plastic sheath Ok?
Any/what prep work was done to the sheath prior to the Duracoat??

Knives and sheath both look fantastic BTW. :)

The sheath has worn well. Prep work... you can sand with a light grit sandpaper but since I have a media cabinet I just blast it.
