Pioneer I: how to get clip tight?

How can I get my clip really tight on my Pioneer I without locking the blade down so much?

You can remove the clip and pit super glue in the tab hole or some epoxy. Wipe off the excess tignten the pivoit until it is set then back off the pivot.

I will give it a shot. I LOVE that knife, but the sloppy clip drives me right up the wall. I've found I nees to Loctite the pivot screws, too, or they loosen with each opening.
