  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Pioneer X

Never had a use for scissors but obviously there must be a market.

Once you get them and start using them, you begin to find many things that need cutting with scissors.

I use the scissors a lot for bandages, threads, those wrist bands they put on you for concerts/bars/hospitals, and sometimes for cutting my nails. I have the Alox Pioneer X. I think the blade might be harder to fold out, but I don't have a regular Pioneer to compare it to.

I use SAK scissors to remove the stupid pocket patch from Carhartt t-shirts. I used a small SAK knife blade, but one corner of the patch is triple stitched and I always broke a thread in my t-shirts. Using scissors and working carefully, you can avoid this.

My first SAK was a Huntsman, who's scissors I used often over the years in the removal of the nasty burrs my dog got while hunting. She seemed to appreciate it and may even have hunted hard/longer.
