Stuart, please excuse my ignorance, but i have not seen anything like this outside of old hollywood movies.
is it actually useable as a hatchet, or is the hatchet head more for display ?
and, does it smoke a bowl of tobacco well ? i.e. hold the burn, draw easily, not too hot ? and finally, what do you suggest to use clean out (i assume a clean out rod for a 22 is too large diameter). thanks, i'm interested (but did not check if you ship to canada), roland

The head is tempered for use as a tool. I have never smoked one myself but according to ones that have they do smoke well. The bore is a 1/4 inch so a rod for a 22 would work. The bowl connection to haft is 1/8 inch so a regular pipe cleaner would work for that. I would ship to Canada contact me for details. Thanks,Stuart

That is some of the finest maple I think I've ever seen. Holy smokes...for someone anyways. If only I had a couple big bills laying around.

Stuart, thanks for the info. i just spent my $ buying a knife from G. Beauchamp. really do like your hachet pipe, but i gotta stop buying knives first. roland
