Wish I’d bought more Steamworks, it’s really good. Pease has a new blend out next week with some Izmir in it. Ellipsis Flake

This thread makes me want to take up pipe smoking. My uncle smoked a pipe for a time, but nobody smoked pipes enough around me for it to take hold.
I would suggest getting a Missouri Meershaum corncob pipe and mild aromatic tobacco to start. That’s the easy and economical way to start. Or if you have a local tobacconist, they should be able to help.

Steamworks is a great blend. A little worse than my favorite Beacon. But McClelland is no more. :(

The day McClelland closed was a sad day. It was hard to beat and they were my hometown brand. Thankfully I grabbed a few tins to cellar when I heard about their shutting down.

Great pics! I particularly like the one on the rocks.

That was definitely a sad day. Frog Morton Across the Pond was my absolutely favorite. Jakeywax31 Jakeywax31 was kind enough to gift me a tin of Frog Morton on the Bayou recently, gonna have to wait for a special occasion and crack that open.

I don’t have any recent pipe- or cigar-and-knife pics, but here’s a related one from not too long ago.
