looks like you did a pretty good job. my grandpa smoked a pipe for YEARS. i used to love to sit next to him and smell it.. miss it dearly. he is still alive but i miss the nice aroma.

Well, I´m a pipe smoker. I own about 40 of them. A lot of shapes and a lot of modells. Some are modern, some are traditional.
I´m smoking pipes for over 10 years til now.
That´s another hobby for me, next to my knives...

No pics, but most of my pipes are Danish. I have several churchwardens & also Peterson's . Bjarne, Carl Eric, Nording. I have a cabinet that is filled with my tobacco collection. If I get a chance, I will post pics !!!!

I've got a cheapie meerschaum and one that's custom right about $400 if I remember correctly.
It's not the pipe that matters as much as the tobacco you smoke out of it.
I've had several briars and a couple corn cobs... apparently I drop pipes for no reason... or worse... sit on them.

I tend to abuse pipes. I have quite a few. Quite a few are broken and need repairs. It never fails that I drop my favorite on concrete and break the stem off.... trip to the pipe store, and another pipe appears. But I have a lot of pipes, some expensive ones, but these days I tend to hang in the $75-$150 range. I prefer a slight bent with a large bowl. Most other designs just sit unused for years.
