This American-made knife has a smooth, almost hydraulic action and a well-centered blade grind (far better than Protech). The knife came out of the box with a toothy edge (reminiscent of Benchmade) but was quickly cleaned up on a Spyderco Sharp Maker using only the fine ceramic. Then I deburred the blade with a slack strop; it's now sharper than from the factory but still at the original angle. Blade centering is perfect when closed, and I've had no issues with the knife, but I'm not a fan of the clip (yes, I know it's a titanium Chris Reeves clip, I prefer deep carry wire clips), and as such it just isn't getting much use.
