American-made knife with a smooth, almost hydraulic action and a well-centered blade grind (better-centered than most Protech or Benchmade). The knife came out of the box with a decent toothy edge (reminiscent of Benchmade), but after some light use, I smoothed the edge with Work Sharp extra fine and honing belts. Then I deburred the blade with a slack strop (newer Imgur link); it's now sharper than it came from the factory but still at the original angle. Blade centering is perfect when closed, and I've had no issues with the knife. The pocket clip is a titanium Chris Reeves clip.
