I can't believe that I ordered an SKM knife from Grindworx and received a cheap AKC knock off instead . I have purchased alot of knives from them and I am shocked. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Did you try contacting the vendor for an explanation or resolution before posting here? Perhaps there was an order fulfillment error? If your not satisfied, return the knife

OP - did you contact them? What did they say?
 
I've had the wrong knife sent to me, while my knife was sent to somebody else, by a good shop. Can happen to anybody when multiple packages going out at the same time.

If they fix it it's no issue in my book, no reason to be "pissed".

You are correct. I have started the return process and I'll see how it goes. In my defense it's the third time I received the wrong knife from them. And once an otf that didn't work out of the box . However I have also received many very nice knives from them and I may have over reacted. I was trying to find out if this was a common problem with the vendor. And I thank you for your feed back.

I had a similar problem with another major vendor but it was with an add-on "freebie" they offered to tag along with
a major purchase. They sent it wrong twice but the third time was a charm (well not quite, but close enough).
I get to keep all 3 but they were "cheapies".
Must be the help that are pulling items I suppose.
