I have 4 Self Defense VHS tapes up for sale. I should probably give you some background on them. These are from the SCARS Institute of Combat Sciences:

www.scars.com

When they came on the Martial Arts/Self Defense scene they brought a huge controversy. If you do some research, you'll find quite a lot of criticism about them and the system. Mostly people say that the system is BS. I believe most of the antagonism stemmed from the claims that the SICS was making about the effectiveness of their system. I suggest that you don't fall for the criticism. Years later, a new "system" came along known as Target Focused Training:

And if you do some research, you'll find that they tend to get praised as practical, effective and a no-BS type of style. What people don't realize is that TFT is SCARS, or to be more specific, DPS which is the actual name of the system created by Jerry L Peterson (founder of SCARS/SICS). The good folks at the TFT Group just packaged it in a way that appealed to the layman.

Here's what I got:
Rifle Disarmament and Retention = $30
Non-lethal Firearms Disarmament Tactics = $30
Exposing Trigger Points of Predetermined Movement = $30 (note: not as "cool" as the actual techniques, but is extremely important to understand how the techniques are formulated)

US Navy SEAL Trainer Tape - Level 1 = $30

BTT

BTW, if anyone's actually done any research on the SCARS/Jerry Peterson controversy, you'll eventually find that many claim that it's merely San Soo Kung Fu. And while I'm an advocate of SCARS, I can't deny SSKF's obvuious influence on this system. However, SSKF has absolutely nothing to do with these firearm techniques and principles. This is something no critic can claim. There's just no relation because this is just out of the scope of what SSKF covers.

If you're serious about learning the most effective firearm retention/disarmament techniques, you have to look at these. I'm definitely not saying that's it's the end all, but I guarantee it will open you eyes to a very real and different understanding of this stuff.
