Me and Jr were looking around a used fishing tackle shop the other day when I spotted this Mora for $8.
Pitdog Jr likes his Mora's so we bought it and with 10 mins cleaning and sharpening it was as good as new.
I took some pics of my lad with the knife in it's bright orange sheath hanging from his waistpack but they came out blurry so you will have to make do with the only two pics that did come out.

Its a clipper, one of the really nice ones. But then all mora's are great.:thumbup::thumbup:

very cool..... my 9 y.o. already has a little collection of knives going...:o

That's great man. I can't wait until my oldest son gets to the point where I can get him a knife of his own. Moras are great blades all around.

Can he crawl yet? OK, he is old enough. :)

Seriously, my dad got me my first knife when I was 4 or 5. I was in the scouts, and they actually did a pretty good job of teaching knife safety, so there were no problems. The problems came later as an adult when I ignored the safety rules. I have a few hand scars with stitch marks as a result.

I used to carry one of those when I worked as a lobsterman. Mine was 1/2 serrated, and I'd keep it on a belt I made from the elastic suspender of an old pair of grundens oilskins. That way I could wear it ouside even when I was wearing my jacket or pullover on deck. I liked how the sheath had a thumb ramp to help draw the knife even with gloves on, and it was a comfortable handle to use with gloves, even when they were oily from the bait.

Great pics! Love mora knives...

Thanks Dan how'd do ya like my new sheath for my other mora that Eric made ?
