Today was too nice a day to pass up so I geared up and headed out with Maisy !!!

Maisy can't get enough of the snow, she loves it !!!

Before ya ask Vic, yeah I took my Tracker along again !!!

The whole Inlet had frozen up !!!

These poor folk had gotten their boat frozen in and had to break their way through the ice to get their canoe to shore !

Maisy couldn't stop watching them, I think she was toying with doing a Lassie and going out to save them, LOL !!!

Beautiful! It's when you get a couple feet of snow after an ice storm that it becomes a real hassle! :grumpy: :D

Hey ya right it's not all roses, when I came home from work last night I passed at least 20 cars that had skidded off the road !!!!:(:thumbdn:
 
I would love to get some snow like that once in a while, but it would shut our state down I'm afraid :D

You look like you are enjoying that Tracker pretty good too!

Were the people staying on the boat prior to the freeze? I just wondered if they may have just been sheeple that later decided to go out and check their boat after they left it in the freeze.

Our snow has been little and short lasting.

I'd say they must have been there when it froze as they were smashing the ice to get back to the shore !
 
Those are some awesome Pics. I thought you lived in a beautiful area when everything was green, but I think I like it better covered in white!

Oh wow thats just down right beautiful I heard vancouver is a beautiful natural place is the land over there pretty cheap as well? From your previous posting looks like you live in on some sort of horse property. Now I'm looking forward to you starting a nice fire with all that frozen timber. I enjoyed your fire attempt during pouring rain. P.S. I don't know how functional that tracker is compared to regular knives, but I must say it is a thing of beauty in a tactical sense looks like something straight from the movie aliens
