Here's one I got in a recent trade. Tang is stamped PITTMAN over MEMPHIS. Never heard of this maker. 3-7/8" closed...brass liners...good snap...no wobble or play at all..very solid. Great looking pinned on stag scales. I would say average workmanship, as the pivot pin can be easily seen on the back side bolster. I don't know what the blade steel is, but most likely carbon. Appears to not have been carried or re-sharpened.
This would be a good one to put in your pocket and use.
