I've been there, me thinks that blade is worth it.

Been taking hot salt water baths to toughen up the hide a bit before my Gelbu arrives. If Im gonna be skinned at least im going to make it hard on her. Only problem is she has all kinds of HI hardware to do the job now. Just hope she dont use the 25Siru:dread:

OK here is that last bit of chum yall left in the water for me to scarf up! Thank you very much! Its that 21 inch Gelbu Special by Tirtha! Incredible knife! I thought I liked my Chitlangi (well I still do) but this just feels like an extension of my arm. Kinda like i was born with it! Didn't take anytime at all to learn where the tip was. Almost like having a laser site on a knife I could hit the base of a bush a quarter inch from the ground and down it came every time! You can literally mow grass with it! Anyway I put her to work for an evening and cleared a trail of some pesky bushes about 200 feet to my neighbors house and was no sweat at all. This knife felt so light and fast and worked well under its own weight effortlessly. Im very sure it will be capable of taking out some larger stuff later in the summer but then it will have to compete with my 25Siru. I did manage to get some photos before I got her dirty but was too dark to get trail pics. Man this one was worth losing some skin for!

This is untouched as Aunti sent it too me. How bout that finish!
