Well I'm really thinking about getting a P'kal.
I mean really really thinking.
I think pictures and reviews might push me over the edge. :D

I wont hurt myself.
I play with knives much sharper than any spyderco.
:D
I work for my own damn money.

I just purchased a PKal , it totally rocks. The Pkal is very smooth on the draw. Maybe I'm lucky , but I have not been bit by the Pkal yet. I'm a little confused how you can snag yourself on such a failsafe knife.

I'm on the market for one myself, had one and got rid of it. Still kicking myself for that one. Grade A knife for sure. Definitely would recommend getting a trainer though. I was never bit either but with a knife like that i'd like to keep it that way.

P'kal---I just don't get it. Like the Karambit. But if it Rox you, congratulations!!

I played with the P'kal at the Spyderco outlet in Golden, CO last week. Well made knife, and I believe it's one of the few made right there in Golden. It was pretty comfortable to hold in a sabre-style grip, too, if you wanted to use it for a normal cutting task. Wicked sharp blade. Reminds me a bit of the Yojimbo, but in reverse.

It's one of the great ones to come from Spyderco. Contrary to popular internet ramblings, the P'kal is an awesome EDC cut-everything-knife. It has the added self defense allure built into the design, but it is one of my most efficient everyday, utility pocket knives. One of my favorites.
