$315 - Nessmuk:
Saber grind. High contrast Ironwood over black G10 liners. 3 Copper Pins and tube.
4 1/4" blade | 9" overall | 1/8" 80CrV2 | 4-4.5/5 handle thickness
Includes JRE sheath ($280 w/o sheath)

Because of the contour of the handle, if you wear a ring size larger than 10 or have trouble getting your digits into an XL glove the handle on this one likely will be tight. I have a sausage finger version of my nessmuk coming up soon.

Other kydex and leather sheath options are available.

I began making PL knives in 2016. I've done leather work for over 20. I added kydex to my repertoire in the last 3 years. The heat treat on all of my carbon steel knives is done by me in a thermostatically controlled Evenheat knifemaking kiln. Each 8670 blade is heated to austenitic temperature and quenched in Parks 50 oil. Then it goes through a 2 stage tempering process. Hardness is 60-61 hrc and my heat treat process produces a blade with extreme toughness and fine edge sharpenablility. Scales are glued with West Systems G-flex epoxy. My aim is to produce heirloom quality tools with excellent craftsmanship that will provide a lifetime of enjoyment and service.

Nicely done. I like seeing a “Nessmuk” knife that actually mimics the original Nessmuk profile. It’s a descriptive term that has been adulterated in recent times, IMO. Good looking blade!

Thanks. That was the idea… I tried to mimic the flow of an antler handle with my full tang design.
