I can relate to the "why the hell not" purchase. I just made one last week. I bought myself a Warcraft Tanto. I am very pleased with the knife. It is incredibly solid. However, the sheath (I posted about it just a few minutes ago) is so tight and the material from the belt loop to the plastic sheath is so flimsy, that it is almost impossible to draw the knife from the sheath when wearing it on a belt. I am hoping to find a replacement sheath.

Went a little off of the rails with Cold Steel lately. Sold a custom a couple of weeks ago and had knife money that the wife didn't know about. Got the Wasp from CS on their Holiday Sale the the rest I found various places at pretty decent deals. Figured with the changes, I would grab a few that I had always wanted. Custom sheaths are from Savage Sheaths.
The Chaos seems to fit my hand best with a pair of gloves on. I agree with above about not wanting to go on a chopping marathon. I think the Warcraft will get the most use but I'm liking walking around with the Chaos.

Great comparison picture with the Wasp,really gives me a true idea of its size. Ridiculously long blade, typical CS over the top tacticool thing. I want one.

The warcraft is definitely the better chopping tool, indeed. And it’s 3V, so it should be able to tank most of what you put it through.
I just like the proportions and the sheer boldness of the chaos bowie. It’s not a timid knife by any means.

Thanks guys. Never been disappointed with my sheaths from Savage. In fact I think he's getting better everytime.
Nephron, here is another pic with some Wasp contemporaries. What I didn't capture was how thick the Wasp is. I wouldn't be too concerned about breaking or bending this one.

Always been fascinated by the drop forged series, but my local store unfortunately has run out of stock. The dagger looks interesting.

Nice picture especially with the Fairbairn Sykes & Mark I with the rest. I will definitely be picking one up, I like it, plus I have all the of the other Forged Series.
