I found a guy on a popular auction site that had six of the OH Trekkers with a plain edge so I decided to pick one up. I'm glad I found them. I wanted a Trekker, but that serrated edge just turned me off. I know a lot of people around here dig the Trekkers so I figured it was a good purchase. I might carry that instead of the Leatherman on occasions when the big Charge hanging off my side would be a little taboo. The wife always gives me crap when I'm dressed all nice for date night but it looks like I'm wearing my Bat Belt. :D I figured that this would be a little more acceptable. It seems good enough to replace my multitool and RC4 on date night without leaving me feeling naked. Anyone else got a plain edge version? What do you guys think about it? Got any pictures of them?

The one I'm getting looks like it might have been modified. i don't really care either way as long as it doesn't have the serrated edge anymore.

Another one that caught my eye was the Wenger Ranger 61. Anyone got one of those? They look like they would be a really good one also.

I bought one a few months back. Its ok but i still prefer the OHT.
The OHT seems sturdier albeit slightly shorter than the Ranger.
Size wise The OHT is to the Ranger as the Buck 112 is to the Buck 110.

The Ranger is only two layers but don't be deceived, it is THICK.
Thicker than the three layer OHT.
I am really glad i didn't go for the three layer Ranger.
The thickness is mostly due to the ergonomics of the grip panels, they are very comfortable but very thick.
And the ranger's locking button in the side panel limits the possibility of making/fitting custom thinner grips.
Also with the Ranger one-handed thumb-opening is for right-handers only.
The can-opener tool blocks off most of the opening hole when held in your left hand.
i had high hopes for the Ranger but really i find it to be only average.
I'm just going to have to wait and see if SwissBianco ever get that PE Alox OHT in production.

Thanks tholiver. Thats what I needed to hear. I made the right choice. I'm not left handed, but I still like the option and I would certainly prefer the smaller of the two.
