Plain or serrated Spyderco Dragonfly 2

I've been carrying the serrated dragonfly daily for about a year now. I really like it for zip ties, clamshell packaging and other hard plastic stuff. I also usually carry a PE slicer, but as sharp as I can get it, it tends to sort of slide on those materials instead of digging in like the SE.

I think this is one of the best reasons I have heard to get the SE!
Now I want to get the SE Dragonfly 2 and carry it with another PE EDC!
Now, just have to figure out how to convince my better half!

just keep it from her :D

I realize this is not a recent thread, but... Abort! Abort! Do not under any circumstances keep it from her!! Safety first. :-)

Great thread, I was trying to decide myself between the DF2 plain edge and DF2 SpyderEdge H1. Just added the H1 to the shopping cart.

@TTPower did you end up going with the SpyderEdge H1? How do you like it, and how long did it stay sharp for you?

Yup i picked the spyderedge in vg-10

I have both...

For something small like the Dragonfly II, I think the serrated is more useful. You're not going to be doing a lot of big slices or anything, more likely cutting small, tough stuff. Which serrations excel at.
