Believe it or not I did the knurling at low RPM holding the tool manually! All the shaping was done by hand/eye, only thing I used a cutter for on the lathe were some of the grooves, which I only started there and then finished them with gunsmithing needle files.
...hence why I only made a few pairs! Of course, that's my more complicated pair...most of mine are simpler and have a nice "understated beauty" to them. But you know how I am with aesthetics...
Perhaps if I can re-acquire equipment/shop access I will make some more, but it may not be terribly likely in the immediate future.
I definitely do like yours though...if I make another pair in the future maybe we should trade.
